Meet the Board of Trustees
Iso Bassey
Iso Bassey is an IT consultant, entrepreneur, and social advocate. He served for six years as Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State on Information and Communication Technology. He is the founder of several start-ups including ACADEMIX – an e-Library of Africa focused research which was a finalist of the Thomson Reuters Africa Startups Challenge, 2016. ACADEMIX won the NITDA award for Best e-Learning Start-up in Nigeria for 2017.
Iso has a strong passion for a better Nigeria and spends much of his time mentoring young professionals and organising volunteers for various causes. He is widely travelled and enjoys playing golf.
Eme Owoaje
Eme Owoaje is a professor of Public Health/Community Medicine who currently works in the Department of Community Medicine at the University of Ibadan well as an Honorary Consultant Physician to the University College Hospital, Ibadan. She is a fellow of the Faculty of Community Health, West African College of Physicians and obtained an MPhil in Science and Technology Studies from Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
She is passionate about health care advocacy issues and supporting young people to access quality education and achieve their potential.
Akomaye Ugar
Akomaye Ugar is the Lead Pastor of Honeystreams Christian Centre. He is an international leadership development speaker, life coach, and author of over twenty books. He travels widely to teach, train, speak and inspire audiences around the world.
Akomaye is saddled with a mandate to raise leaders who fulfil purpose with excellence.
Diana-Mary Nsan
Diana-Mary Nsan is a broadcast Journalist, an educator, a humanitarian and farmer who delved into politics as a Social Democratic Party candidate for the Cross River State House of Assembly elections 2019. She’s an award winning television and radio host. She’s also a lecturer at the school of languages, College of Education, Akamkpa.
She volunteers and serves the interest of vulnerable people through different humanitarian organisations. She is the Principal Consultant of Crystal Scientifica Nig. Ltd.
Kammonke Abam
Kammonke Abam is a storyteller and curator of history who plies his trade through profiles and biographies. He runs one of Nigeria’s leading biographical documentation and media consulting firms, Profiles & Biographies, producing annual biographical compendia and books of records.
His annual publications include: “Nigeria Women Annual: 100 Leading Women”; “Portraits of Patriots: 100 Nigeria’s Thought Leaders”; and “Changemakers: 100 Nigerians Leading Transformational Change” “and “Contemporary Who’s Who in Cross River State”.
Rosemond Edem
Rosemond Edem is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She is currently the Executive Director at Foundational Network Africa, an organization advancing innovative skills in young people. She serves as a mentor on the Nigerian Women Trust Fund project on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls 2020. She is a ONE Youth Champion 2018/2019 with ONE Organization in Nigeria and a Fellow at WYSE International Leadership Coaching Programme 2021. She is also an Ambassador for the World Literacy Foundation 2021.
She is passionate about Youth and Capacity Development and volunteering for Community projects.
Otu Eno
Otu Eno holds a doctorate degree in Power Electronics from the University of Dundee. He works on projects from conception to production and is currently in a project and technical leadership role within the industry with a knowledge of market trends to provide cost effective and innovative solutions. He also possesses vast experience of complex engineering issues to provide project direction.
He has a keen interest in mentoring and providing guidance on technical issues to companies in developing nations and continues to approach his professional objectives in this regard.
